Nest Lining
Nest Lining is a decorative block used to create high-quality Duck nests. It serves as the center block for nests of quality level 2 or higher.
Obtaining
Crafting
Nest Lining can be crafted with 4 Hay Blocks.
Breaking
Nest Lining can be broken with any tool or by hand. It drops itself when broken.

Nest Lining can be used to craft 4 Hay Blocks.
Duck Nests
Nest Lining is the preferred center block for Duck nests. Using Nest Lining instead of a Hay Bale as the nest center enables quality levels 2 through 5, which produce better drops.
A valid nest requires:
- A center block (Nest Lining or Hay Bale)
- A 3x3 flat area of solid blocks surrounding and including the center
- Air blocks above all 9 blocks in the nest area
- Corner blocks must not be nest center materials (to prevent overlapping nests)
Nest Quality Levels
When Nest Lining is used as the center:

Higher quality nests allow Ducks to produce better items, particularly Raw Quackmium at levels 3-5.
Note Blocks
When placed under a note block, Nest Lining causes the note block to produce a banjo sound.
